Welcome to River to Ridge I have spent my whole life working in and enjoying the outdoors, in farming and logging and through hobbies. At age six, my father handed me a fly rod and started my life long love of standing by a quiet stream waiting for a rise. As a teenager I started hiking and backpacking and since have hiked most of the Maine AT and most of the state’s major peaks.I enjoy passing all I know on to my own boys. Now, as a Master guide, I look forward to teaching and helping others to appreciate and respect God’s great creation through the outdoor sports of fishing, hiking and backpacking. My goal as a guide is to provide an opportunity for you to experience the outdoors in a meaningful and memorable way. I will do my best to meet your expectations by talking to you before your trip begins, making sure you are properly prepared and equipped for whatever adventure you choose.

Fly Fishing Fly fishing for brook trout and salmon in the western mountains of Maine. Fish famous name rivers like the Kennebago, Cupsuptic, Magalloway River, and Rapid River. You can either wade fish the rivers or fish from a canoe on small ponds. From the beginner who needs a lesson to the seasoned caster let me help you to experience the peace and solitude of the Maine woods. Bring your own gear, or for the beginner I can supply you with the equipment you need. Let me put you on the right pools with the flies that will catch fish.
